Who We Are: The Susan Wayne Center of Excellence (SWCE) provides intensive, staff secure, educational and living experiences for male and female adolescents intended to cultivate excellence in all areas of growth and functioning, while preparing them for increased independence as they move into young adulthood. At SWCE, comprehensive and individualized treatment and programming builds on existing strengths and competencies to address the multiple, adverse life challenges often experienced by residents and their families within a structured and evidenced based treatment and educational framework within a residential setting that encompasses 24hrs/ 7days weekly. We are located on thirty-eight acres of property in beautiful Thompson, CT. Thompson is centrally located, 25 minutes south of Worcester, MA and 40 minutes west of Providence, RI. The program serves 18 adolescents with developmental disabilities who range in age from 10-21. Compensation The pay range for this position is $29.00 to $33.00 per hour.
