Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse, provides direct and indirect patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines. If unsuccessful in obtaining Michigan Licensure upon first attempt, NE will retest a minimum of 45 days after administration of the first exam, per the NCSBN policy. If NE is unable to successfully complete the nursing licensure exam after two attempts the NE will be removed from the NE position and placed in a Nurse Assistant position within 7 days or employment will be terminated.
