Checking the operative schedule weeks in advance making sure all supplies and equipment are available. Occasional running the front desk. Ensuring ORs are staffed and getting relieved on time. Scheduling, Rounding on staff and rooms. Ensuring ORs are cleaned and ready for a procedure. Putting instruments and equipment away. Oversight of Operating Room in collaboration with OR leadership and physicians. Ensuring ORs are prepared for procedure Secondary roles: Working in OR as a staff RN. Helping staff get breaks and lunch.
