Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough pre-vaccination assessments to identify contraindications and assess the patient's overall health status. Educate patients about the benefits and potential side effects of vaccines, addressing any concerns or questions. Follow policies and procedures for allergic reactions and emergencies while on site, thorough knowledge and understanding of the use of emergency supplies and epi-pen usage if necessary. Documentation and Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting vaccine administration details and any adverse reactions. Complete required documentation for regulatory compliance and reporting purposes. Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care. Requirements Job Requirements: Education: Completion of an Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited registered nursing program.
