Position: Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – Addiction Treatment Location: Tennessee (must hold active TN license) Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide telehealth services for clients in recovery from substance use disorders. This is a remote position, allowing you to deliver high-quality care from the comfort of your home while collaborating with our rehab facility’s clinical team. Key Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations for clients in PHP and IOP levels of care Diagnose and manage substance use disorders and related conditions via telehealth Prescribe and monitor addiction-related medications, including MAT when applicable Collaborate remotely with therapists, case managers, and medical staff Participate in virtual treatment team meetings to review progress and adjust care plans Educate clients and families on diagnoses, medications, and relapse prevention strategies Complete all documentation in compliance with state and facility requirements Requirements: Active Tennessee APRN license with Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances in Tennessee Experience in addiction medicine preferred Reliable internet connection and ability to work with HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms Strong communication and patient engagement skills in a virtual setting
