Job Summary Job Summary: The Anesthetist administers general anesthesia and sedation to all types of patients and for all types of procedures at the discretion of the Chief of Anesthesiology. Responsible for pre-anesthetic evaluation, anesthetic management, and post-anesthetic evaluation of surgical patients and other special procedures. Performs airway and pain management. Operates all equipment involved in anesthesia. Qualifications CERTIFIED REGISTERED NURSE ANESTHETIST: Graduate of an approved school of nursing with Georgia licensure Graduate of an approved school of anesthesia for nurses. Certified by an appropriate credentialing process. Opportunity Highlights: Employed by Wellstar Medical Group Anesthesia Care Team Model of 7 Anesthesiologists and 10 full time Anesthetists plus some PRN Anesthetists covering 4 sites of service- include Wellstar Windy Hill, Wellstar East Cobb Health Park, Wellstar Acworth Health Park and Wellstar Pediatric Imaging Center. Cases include orthopedics including total joints at Windy Hill, general surgery, hand surgery, GYN, GI, healthy pediatrics, ENT, peds sedation for imaging, Urology and more.
