Nurse Anesthetist CRNA (Day-Shift)

Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, a subsidiary of Foundation Health Partners, is searching for a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our highly experienced Anesthesia team. The Opportunity: Join Fairbanks Memorial Hospital (FMH) as a CRNA and make a direct impact on the Interior Alaska community. This rare three-week-on, two-week-off schedule gives you 20 weeks each year to explore Alaska’s outdoors, such as hiking, fishing, hunting, skiing, snowmobiling, and northern lights viewing. Experience a bread-and-butter caseload including general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, ENT, podiatry, healthy peds, and GI procedures, with CRNAs managing cases with physician oversight. While high-acuity cases are less frequent, the work is dynamic and engaging, keeping your skills sharp as part of a rural health system, without the constant intensity of a trauma-heavy environment. Shifts are 12 hours, but many days end earlier, offering even more flexibility and ensuring a balanced schedule with predictable downtime. Compensation : Salary DOE between $315K-$378K | $40K sign-on bonus | $15K annual retention | $5K performance incentive | $5K CME allowance Patients: 4-5 ORs daily with one additional out-of-OR assignment (OB or GI Procedures). No craniotomies or hearts. Team: 5 full-time Anesthesiologists and ultimately 12 CRNAs. Schedule : 3 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation . Our schedule follows a "work hard, play hard" approach, with condensed work blocks and 20 weeks off. No nights. Must have completed a graduate program approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs. Must be approved to practice as a Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetist (NBCRNA). Must possess a valid current or temporary Alaska RN license. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Doctorate degree preferred. Experience working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a CRNA preferred. Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
