Job Responsibilities

Delivering post-acute care as an LPN
Monitoring the physical and mental wellbeing of residents and tracking their vital signs
Performing intakes of residents and documenting their health concerns and medical histories
Reviewing the medical records and charts of residents
Properly administering (and verifying) medications
Helping to maintain appropriate levels of medical supplies

Qualifications and Skills

POSITION SUMMARY The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for the management of an assigned unit on a specific tour of duty. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Must currently be licensed as a Licensed Nurse by the PA State Board of Nurse Examiners. Must be knowledgeable of nursing, medical practices and procedures. Must be knowledgeable of State and Federal Regulations for Long Term Care. Employment is contingent on completion of all pre-employment checks inclusive of a criminal background check and Medicaid Exclusion Screening, both indicating negative results. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Know and support the philosophy, goal and objectives of the Nursing Department. Supervise Nursing Assistants and Staff Assistants.
