Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Certified Obstetric Surgical Technologist at HCA Healthcare, you’ll be a valued part of a highly collaborative team that is passionate about delivering newborns safely and with the highest standards of care, while honoring each professional’s skills and expertise in obstetrics and surgery. Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures
Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety
Providing instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures
Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly
Working closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience

What Qualifications You Will Need:

* Graduate of a Surgical Technology program or military equivalent training in the Surgical Technologist role is required.

* Certification in Surgical Technology

* Current BCLS certification from the American Heart Association required.

* 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience is preferred

Your responsibilities will include: Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety Providing instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly Working closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience What qualifications you will need: What Qualifications You Will Need: * Graduate of a Surgical Technology program or military equivalent training in the Surgical Technologist role is required. * Certification in Surgical Technology * Current BCLS certification from the American Heart Association required. * 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience is preferred HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball has provided quality healthcare to Tomball, Magnolia and Northwest Houston communities since 1948.
