MaineHealth Mid Coast Hospital is seeking an experienced part-time Certified Nurse Midwife to join our established Women’s Health practice.This position is 20 hours per week, and requires both office and inpatient call coverage. The Women's Health Practice is located adjacent to Mid Coast Hospital and is the first official Centering Pregnancy site in Maine. Brunswick and its surrounding coastal communities offer the perfect balance of small-town charm with thriving culture, easily accessible amenities of every variety, and the tranquil beauty of Maine beaches and forest. Desired Qualifications And Experience
  • BSN/MSN and successful completion of nurse midwifery program accredited by the ACNM.
  • Active State of Maine Nursing License for RN and APRN-CNM Certification by ACNM
  • Active DEA License Current BLS certification
  • At least 1 year of experience required.

The ideal candidate will have three or more years of oncology experienceand demonstrate foundational leadership abilities that can be applied in this setting. This position will be located at 265 Western Ave in South Portland until April 17th, 2026 and will transition to our new location at 100 Campus Suite 108 in Scarborough on April 20th , 2026. Summary The Registered Nurse – Patient Navigator – MHMG MMCP role guides patients through the care continuum, establishing contact with recurrent and newly diagnosed cancer patients and/or family members, or caregivers. The Patient Navigator will understand the clinical pathways established by the Oncology Program and will direct the patients to health care services within the organization, at outside facilities, and within the community for timely diagnosis, treatment and survivorship. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs) Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required or must complete BSN within three years of start date. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Equally important to clinical experience is a candidate’s attitude, adaptability, and overall cultural fit within the team. The individual selected for this position must be flexible and comfortable working in a dynamic environment. The practice is currently undergoing operational changes and will continue to evolve as workflows are improved and processes are optimized.
