Key Responsibilities

Patient Assessment & Care Planning

Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including pain evaluation, functional status, and discharge needs
Monitor patient response to treatments and medications; promptly identify and report adverse effects

Clinical Skills & Treatment Administration

Demonstrate proficiency in infusion therapy, including chemotherapy administration and blood product transfusion

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain accurate, timely, and complete patient documentation in accordance with hospital policy

Qualifications

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
BSN preferred

Licensure/Certification

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey or compact license
BLS certification required
Chemotherapy/biotherapy certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Experience

Prior infusion, oncology, or acute care experience preferred
Experience with chemotherapy administration and outpatient care strongly preferred
