School Nurse Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Peoria, Arizona

A Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) position is available to provide dedicated care and support for a medically fragile female student within a school environment in the Paradise Valley, AZ area. This full-time contract role requires a compassionate and skilled female CNA to assist with medical and daily living needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing assistance to a medically fragile female student.
  • Monitor and manage health-related needs in accordance with established care plans.
  • Assist with personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with educational staff and healthcare professionals to ensure the student's well-being during school hours.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and report any changes in the students condition promptly.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current certification as a Nurse Assistant (CNA).
  • Experience supporting medically fragile individuals, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
  • Ability to work full-time hours with flexibility as required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Female candidates preferred due to the nature of the caseload.

Responsibilities Performing personal care needs after given a patient’s assignment and attending to his/her requests promptly. If unable to perform a certain task, report to the RN/Case Manager immediately. Completes appropriate visit records in a timely manner as per Agency policy.
