Department: Emergency Department (ED)
Patient Population: Serves a diverse range of emergent cases, including trauma, STEMI, and stroke, caring for both pediatric and adult patients with acute and often complex conditions.
Number of Beds: 16 exam rooms (12 General, 2 Trauma, 2 Triage)
Census: Approximately 30-40 patients per 24 hours
Designation/Level: Opened as a Level IV Trauma Center in July 2025. Currently pursuing Level III designation, with a long-term vision of achieving Level I status to best serve the community.

Qualifications
Education & Licensure
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or active pursuit of MSN strongly preferred
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications required
Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of Emergency Department (ED) RN experience required, including progressive leadership experience
- Minimum of 2 years of ED Nurse Supervisor and/or 2 years of ED Nurse Manager experience in a high-volume, fast-paced ED environment strongly preferred
- Prior experience in a busy, trauma-designated facility required

- Proven ability to lead across multiple levels of Emergency Department operations, driving both team member engagement and clinical excellence
- Demonstrates a self-starter mindset with strong initiative and accountability
- Ability to foster a culture of team member centricity while effectively partnering with EMS and provider teams to ensure seamless, patient-centered care delivery
