Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Psych Staff Nurse, you will be at the forefront of delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care, directly contributing to the health and well-being of those we serve in our Behavioral Health facility.
Every day you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, administering medications, performing treatments, and educating patients and families.
To be successful in this role, you must possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, a compassionate and patient-centered approach, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Allows for privacy and modesty in the provision of care.
- Identifies self by name and title to patient/family.
- Determines presence/type of Advanced Directive.
- Reports suspected cases of abuse/neglect, if identified.
- Understands role of, and how to access, the Bioethics Committee.
- Establishes presence of consent prior to treatment/procedures.
$5,000 Sign on for eligible new hires with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
Job Requirements
Required
- A minimum of 6 months recent experience in an Psychiatric and/or Chemical Dependency Nursing Acute Care Facility
- Current Registered Nurse in CA
- Basic Life Support - CPR
