Job Summary and Qualifications

General Statement of Duties: Will utilize the nursing process to independently deliver nursing care to patients in order to achieve quality outcomes and communicate need for guidance/supervision based on self-assessment of strengths and limitations. Promotes a positive image of nursing and promotes collegiality among healthcare team members.

C.A.R.E Pool RNs are required to work the following:

Hours per Pay Period: Critical Care RN: Minimum hours, weekend commitment, and demographic location determined by the group and POD in the HealthONE CARE pool Agreement.

Holiday Requirements: Critical CareRN:1Majoror1 minor holiday, and 1 difficult to staff day annually. One 1 Major and1 minor holiday, and 1 difficult to staff day annually.

Floating:

HealthONE C.A.R.E Pool employees will be required to float to all HealthONE facilities within the chosen pod. C.A.R.E Pool Nurses will be scheduled in units in which they have competencies. .A.R.E Pool Nurses can be placed in a unit below their competency level with a modified assignment.

What qualifications you will need:

Compact RN license or Colorado RN license accepted upon hire, CO license required within 90 days of hire.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum (TNCC) certifications required on hire
Registered Nurse Diploma / Graduate of a certified School of Nursing. BSN strongly preferred.
Required: 2 years experience Required in ICU
