Your Impactful Role:
As Assistant Nurse Manager, you'll be a key partner to the Nurse Manager, providing essential leadership and support to our dedicated ED team. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care within our bustling department, which boasts:
- 68 private treatment rooms, expanding to 76 by 2026, prioritizing patient comfort and privacy.
- Nine centralized nursing stations for enhanced efficiency and caregiver accessibility.
- Five advanced trauma rooms within our Level II Trauma Center, serving Southwest Washington.
- Eight ambulance bays for streamlined patient transfers.
- A dedicated clinical education room, fostering continuous professional development.
- The innovative Community Health Hub, addressing social determinants of health in collaboration with community partners.
- Serving over 85,000 annual visits, providing critical care for complex medical cases.

- Provide leadership, management, and communication to the ED team.
- Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating clinical service delivery.
- Support staff supervision, counseling, and performance assessments.
- Promote open communication and collaboration.
- Assist with budget monitoring and clinical education.
- Proactively implement measures to promote a safety climate.
- BSN required or actively enrolled with graduation within 3 years.
- 3 years of Emergency nursing experience required.
- Recent charge nurse experience (within the last 2 years) required.
- Financial and budgetary experience (preferred).
- Current WA RN license, BLS & ACLS certification.
- PALS, TNCC, NIHSS required within 6 months of hire
- Specialty certification (preferred).
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Ability to apply “holism” in nursing.
