Summary: The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists the Registered Nurse (RN) in providing patient and family centered care that is safe, efficient, timely and effective. The CNA performs patient care under the direct supervision of an RN. The CNA is assigned tasks that are reasonably predictable, do not require assessment, interpretation or independent decision making during its performance or do not pose any risk to the patient.
Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
Licensure: Current Rhode Island C.N.A. Certification.
Experience: One year experience as a C.N.A.
