A full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is available to provide essential healthcare support in an educational setting within Plainfield, NJ. The role requires dedication to monitoring and caring for a young student with complex medical needs in a one-on-one setting. This contract position offers consistent weekday hours from 8:25 a.m. to 3:25 p.m., running immediately through June 23, 2026, with a scheduled spring break.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personalized nursing care for a kindergarten student with multiple medical requirements.
Monitor vital signs including temperature and glucose levels regularly.
Assist with feeding to ensure the student chews and swallows food safely.
Manage allergy protocols and other health-related tasks as needed throughout the school day.
Collaborate with school staff and healthcare professionals to maintain a safe and supportive environment.

Qualifications:

Current New Jersey LPN licensure and certification are mandatory.
Proven experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing preferred.
