School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Edison, New Jersey

A part-time School Nurse (RN) position is available at an educational facility located in Edison, NJ. This role is ideal for a dedicated registered nurse with prior elementary school nursing experience and familiarity with the Genesis charting system. The contract runs from ASAP through June 2026, with work scheduled every Wednesday from 8:40 a.m. to 3:40 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care and health services to elementary school students
Utilize the Genesis charting system for accurate and timely documentation
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor and assess student health concerns and communicate with parents and staff as needed
Participate in health education and promotion within the school environment

Desired Qualifications:

Current New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license
Prior experience as a school nurse at the elementary level
Proficiency with the Genesis charting system
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a school setting
