Assures coordination of nursing services department's activities with those of other facility departments. 11. Maintains written position descriptions for nursing services personnel. Updates as appropriate. 12. Interviews, selects, and appoints all nursing services personnel. 13. Interprets the facility's Nursing Policies and Procedures for department personnel. Ensures implementation. 14. Responsible for yearly written evaluations and for documenting disciplinary concerns for all nursing services personnel. 15. Makes regular rounds to assure optimal quality of care is provided. 16. Responsible for overall coordination of reportable events reports including notification of appropriate State Departments as required. 17.
