Responsibilities
  • Conduct wound assessments and provide personalized treatment plans for patients
  • Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
  • Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Educate patients and their families on wound care, prevention, and management
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in state of employment
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in wound care
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Comfortable with technology and electronic medical records.

This is a full-time position located at the Allina Health Cancer Institute in Cambridge. The work schedule is Monday through Friday and is primarily a clinic focused role. You will be working alongside a collaborative team that includes a Hematologist/Oncologist, an Advanced Practice Provider, and various support services. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support patients with solid tumors as well as hematology patients. Your responsibilities will include seeing patients in the clinic and covering the infusion center. Job Description: Provides help with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations as part of a physician/nurse team in accordance with the designated specialty. Works in both inpatient and outpatient situations and can perform independently or as part of a treatment team.
