We are seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to join our dedicated team.
This pivotal role entails supporting the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations and ensuring our clients receive the highest standard of care. Responsibilities- Assist the Director of Nursing in managing clinical operations and staff oversight.
- Ensure that nursing practices comply with federal and state regulations and agency policies.
- Assist in developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Conduct regular staff training and competency evaluations to maintain high-quality care.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Assist in managing staff schedules and resolve any staffing issues that arise.
- Support ongoing communication between the nursing team, caregivers, and clients to ensure continuity of care.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license in the applicable state.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a home health or hospice setting.
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, policies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficient in using electronic health records and other relevant healthcare software.
