Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Nursing in managing clinical operations and staff oversight.
  • Ensure that nursing practices comply with federal and state regulations and agency policies.
  • Assist in developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual client needs.
  • Conduct regular staff training and competency evaluations to maintain high-quality care.
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
  • Assist in managing staff schedules and resolve any staffing issues that arise.
  • Support ongoing communication between the nursing team, caregivers, and clients to ensure continuity of care.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license in the applicable state.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a home health or hospice setting.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, policies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficient in using electronic health records and other relevant healthcare software.
