Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and care plans. • Assess residents’ physical, psychosocial, and functional status and document appropriately. • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately • Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report to physician and nursing leadership. • Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs on assigned unit or shift. • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards. • Participate in care planning, shift reports, and interdisciplinary meetings. • Respond to emergencies and provide first aid or CPR as needed. • Accurately complete medical records, MARs, TARs, and incident reports. • Educate residents and families regarding care, treatments, and health conditions. • Adhere to attendance, scheduling, and block schedule commitments as assigned. Qualifications: • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Delaware • Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills • Ability to supervise staff and work collaboratively with the healthcare team • Excellent communication and organizational skills Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and assist residents as needed • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation Community / State-Specific Addendum: Licensure requirements, scope of practice, staffing ratios, and scheduling structures may vary by state and community.
