Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) looking for a rewarding role in Occupational Medicine? Join Piedmont Urgent Care in Social Circle, GA, where you will support workplace health and safety by providing first-aid care, occupational health screenings, and drug testing services.  This role will initially be based in a mobile medical trailer located at a local employer site, supporting occupational health services for employees. It is ideal for RNs who enjoy hands-on patient care, predictable weekday schedules, and working closely with employers to support workforce health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

    • First Aid & Injury Care: Provide basic first-aid treatment for minor workplace injuries and illnesses.  Assist with evaluation and care of work-related injuries.

    • Occupational Health Services: Assist with occupational health programs and services according to company protocols.
    • Patient Intake & Clinical Support: Document patient history and visit details in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
    • Testing & Specimen Collection: Collect and process urine specimens for drug testing.  Support basic occupational health testing procedures.
    • Compliance & Documentation: Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and company policies.  Ensure accurate documentation and proper handling of testing procedures.
    • Administrative Support: Assist with clinic operations and general administrative tasks.  Operate medical equipment and maintain organized patient records.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Completion of an accredited RN program; RN licensure required in Georgia
    • Current BLS certification
    • 1+ year of healthcare experience preferred
    • Occupational medicine experience is a plus
    • Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems preferred
    • EPIC experience is a plus
    • Strong attention to detail and documentation
    • Ability to work independently
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

    The general purpose of the ADON is to manage administrative and functional areas or programs within the Nursing Services Department, and to assist the Director of Nursing in overall operation of the Department in accordance with facility policies, and Standards of nursing practices and government regulations, so as to maintain excellent care of all the Resident’s needs.
