Job Summary and Qualifications

Follow "good lab practice" in testing and initiate corrective action as issues occur with test system or resultEducational records (diploma or transcript) are mandatory for staff performing non-waived testing. Position will be responsible for taking call and meeting call shift requirements established by the department. 

 

  1. Position Requirements: 

  1.  Licensure/Certification/Registration Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license. Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red CrossCurrent NRP certification through AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics)..  

 

Colleagues participating in a transition to practice program must have all required certifications at the completion of their program and transition to independent practice. 

 

  1. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of NursingBSN is desirable. 

 

 

  1. Experience:Able to articulate and demonstrate appropriate nursing theory and practiceExperience requirements are specific to positions and departments as appropriate.

The position will be onsite at a construction trailer, looking for an outgoing person who is willing to go around everyday for the majority of the day meeting and speaking with the construction workers as well as providing wellness services. Documents nursing assessments, patient teaching and fluid and medication administration in the patient chart. Communicates all pertinent information and any interventions to the physician. Triages patient phone calls as needed and documents relevant information in the patient's chart.
