The Village at Buckland Court is hiring Full Time, 2nd, 3p-11p, with Every Other Weekend required

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment. 

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:  

  • Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting 
  • Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff. 
  • Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support. 
  • Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care. 
  • Other duties as needed. 
 

Requirements: 

  • Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
  • Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
  • Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired

Job Opportunity: CNA Certified Nursing Assistant Starting Pay: Competitive rates up to $21 per hour, depending on shift Open Positions: 32 hours 3-11 Differentials Offered: Shift Differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends Additional Shifts Differential: Extra $5.00/hour for any shifts worked outside scheduled hours Responsibilities: Assists residents in daily bathing, grooming, dental care, bowel and bladder functions, dressing, walking and wheelchair use, positioning in and out of bed. C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant documents personal care given according to facility policies. Provides nursing functions as directed including perineal care, making beds, turning residents, measures and records temperature, weight, pulse and respiration. C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant observes and reports to supervisor changes in residents’ condition, including any skin breakdowns. Reports immediately all accidents or injuries. Records all necessary charting entries. Answers all call lights regardless of assignment. Responds to emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
