The Oncology Nurse Navigator (ONN) is responsible and accountable for ensuring adult patients with an oncology diagnosis receive quality and coordinated care from diagnosis throughout survivorship. The ONN is a clinical resource with expertise in oncology care and management. The ONN collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate a patient-centered approach to care as an advocate, interpreter, and educator for patients and caregivers. The ONN serves as a link between the patient/caregiver, the multidisciplinary care team, and services that will be needed, providing individualized education, support, and interventions. As a primary contact for the patients/caregivers and referring providers throughout all phases of the cancer continuum, the ONN provides individualized and expert nursing care, The work you do makes a tremendous impact!

Position
Oncology Nurse Navigator
Shift

Experience
- Two (2) years oncology nursing required.
- Strong and effective verbal, written, and presentation skills. Self-starter, enthusiastic, able to motivate others.
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to professionally interact with all internal and external customers.
- Strong service excellence commitment. Excellent patient care skills. Patient and family education experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing required.
- Master’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Current license to practice nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
- Current certification in oncology nursing by OCN, CBCN or ONN-CG preferred (or required within two (2) years of hire date
