Pay Range

This successful practice currently has 4 surgeons, 2 APPs and 6 teammates. We are looking for a surgical APP with a team mindset, interest in urgent/emergent general surgery and who wants to make an impact in a rapidly growing suburban community near Charlotte, NC.
Details about the opportunity include:
- Emergency general surgery focused position
- General surgery experience is preferred
- We serve the Union County community including Monroe, Waxhaw, and Indian Trail
- Inpatient and OR coverage and post operative clinic coverage
- No call or weekends
- Practice has been in place since 2014.
- Increasing practice and OR volume since 2016.
- APP’s integrated into Atrium Health system initiatives, providing access to resources and opportunities for professional development.
Atrium Health Union is a 175-bed hospital in Monroe, NC, providing comprehensive emergency services and specialty medical care. The campus offers a variety of medical services, including a day surgery center, cancer treatment center, long-term care facility, behavioral health center, specialty care clinics, a community wellness and outreach program, a women and children’s center, interventional heart program and physician practices. Over the past 15-plus years our hospital has been serving the Monroe area, and we have worked to add new services and more specialized physicians and programs to meet the growing healthcare needs of our community. In 2021, a new microhospital named Atrium Health Union West opened in Stallings, NC. This small community hospital provides patients with access to a state-of-the-art facility including ER, OR and inpatient services.
