Overview

Responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process.

Responsibilities

Assessments of patients are accurate, consistently performed and a completed efficiently.
Accurate documentation of continuum of care.
Consistently demonstrates safe and accurate technical skills.
Demonstrates competency in the performance of all procedures routinely performed in the office.
Routinely demonstrates proper technique in operating all office/medical equipment.
Triaging of patients is accurate and complies with instructions rendered by provider.

Correctly labels and processes specimens.
Insures proper preparation of specimens for lab courier transfer to Lab.

All other duties as assigned within the scope and range of job responsibilities. Assisting physician/surgeon by scrubbing in for Operating Room cases, when properly trained, if applicable. Required Education, Credential(s) and Experience: Education: Certificate or Diploma Program for Licensed Practical Nurse, or equivalent credit hours in an RN program.
