Responsibilities

Prepare patients for examinations, including taking vital signs and medical histories.
Assist physicians during examinations and procedures by ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are readily available.
Perform basic lab tests and handle specimen collection for analysis.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations.
Manage appointment scheduling and ensure effective office communication.
Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and useful skincare practices.
Keep examination rooms clean, organized, and adequately stocked with supplies.

High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical environment is highly desirable.
Knowledge of medical terminology, especially related to dermatology.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software is a plus.
