We are looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Los Alamos, NM to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in a patient's home in accordance with a physician established care plan.
Pt is 99 years old and holding on to as much independence as possible. He is approved for 40hrs weekly. He prefers afternoons as he sleeps late into the day and his daughter usually gets home close to 6pm during the week. HHA help may be needed on some weekends.

Responsibilities:

Work with the patient in their home to provide one-on-one service in a comfortable and familiar setting.
Assist with the patients’ activities of daily living as well as personal care.
Light housekeeping
Meal preparation
Monitor vitals (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) according to plan of care.
Remind patient of to take medication as prescribed.
Maintain records and documentation of services.
Communication with the patients’ family, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health and care of the patient.

Minimum Qualifications:

Active CNA certification
No active patient caseload
Reliable transportation
Willingness to work on an as-needed basis

$15 - $20 an hour
