Qualifications Required: ASN or Nursing Diploma Recent within past 5 years infusion therapy experience required Strong communication and organizational skills Proficient computer skills Preferred BSN or must be completed within 5 years upon hire 1-2 years of acute care experience preferred 1-2 years of infusion therapy experience within an outpatient setting preferred Certifications And Licenses Required BLS and ACLS certification Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License Scheduling Requirements Day Shift, 24 Hours per week Monday – Friday, some weekend and holiday rotation PT Essential Functions The Registered Nurse provides nursing care in the health care system within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards and assures awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics. This unit cares for adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions requiring closer monitoring including but not limited to: continuous pulse oximetry monitoring, telemetry monitoring, frequent neurological assessments and frequent vital signs. The patient population may include patients with multiple medical diagnoses and/or multi-system medical conditions, pre- and post-surgical/procedural needs, or those transitioning from an ICU level of care.
