JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:As a Nurse Practitioner, you will:

Examine patients and compile patient medical data and examination results
Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory tests
Compile patient medical data, including health history and physical examination results; interpret diagnostic test results for deviations
Perform therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and managing infections

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Zero to two years of clinical experience in a primary care specialty and/or occupational medicine clinic
Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner program
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Skilled in the treatment of minor trauma and orthopedic injuries
Knowledge of the techniques and information needed to diagnose and treat human injuries

Qualifications Master’s Degree in nursing or Physician Assistance Studies from an accredited college or university Current CRNP or Physician Assistant License in Ohio DEA in Ohio DOT FMCSA certification (current or willing to get during credentialing) Job-Related Experience Customarily has at least two years of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care or an emergency setting Job-Related Skills/Competencies Concentra Core Competencies of Service Mentality, Attention to Detail, Sense of Urgency, Initiative and Flexibility Ability to make decisions or solve problems by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions Outstanding customer service skills as well as the ability to deal with people in a manner which shows tact and professionalism The ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information (including HIPAA and PHI) in accordance with federal and state laws and company policies Demonstrated knowledge of occupational medicine requirements (state specific) Demonstrated working knowledge of clinical operations Knowledge of laws and regulations that govern delivery of rehabilitation services Knowledge of worker’s compensation and clinical procedures and all processes involved in the delivery of quality care.
