A full-time School Nurse (RN) position is available from ASAP through June 2026 at a school in Edison, NJ. This contract role provides an excellent opportunity to apply your nursing skills in a dynamic educational setting while supporting the health and well-being of students.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care and health-related services to students during school hours.
Manage student health records, including immunizations and medication administration.
Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement healthcare plans.
Utilize the Genesis charting system to document and monitor student health information.
Respond effectively to medical emergencies and health concerns within the school environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey.
Prior experience as a school nurse is required.
Proficiency with the Genesis electronic charting system.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with children and school staff.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
