**This is a full-time position, offering 32-40 hours per week. It requires availability to work alternating weekends and may require floating to other nearby locations at times**

You will:

  • Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services
  • Administer vaccine injections
  • Assess patients during intake
  • Take vital signs
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as EKG, Retinopathy screening
  • Perform Point of care testing (including COVID testing)
  • Perform patient registration and intake, assist with wait room management and other responsibilities to enhance the patient experience.
  • Order equipment and prepare the clinic for the best patient experience

Required Qualifications

  • Provide holistic, evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients. This includes education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection (STI) Prevention and safer sex practices.
  • Administer immunizations and injections (to include but not limited to COVID19, influenza, TB, Depo) and provides evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
  • Minimum of one-year related work experience in a healthcare setting
  • Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record
  • Ability to take vital signs, perform phlebotomy blood draws and perform Point of Care Testing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including but not limited to performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
  • Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Phlebotomy Certificate or phlebotomy experience preferred. If not experienced, must successfully complete internal phlebotomy training.
  • Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Emergency Room

Licensure/Certifications

  • The LPN/LVN must have a full, active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia. 

Education

  • Graduate of a school of Practical or Vocational Nursing, approved by the State Agency and/or accredited by the National League for Nursing (Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)) at the time the program was completed by the applicant.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$22.40 - $48.67

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
