Hospice Registered Nurse / RN Case Manager Requirements

Adheres to hospital policies and procedures The Transport RN will function as primary or secondary caregiver to ensure that each patient receives treatment that is in accordance with all Transport policies and procedures. Performs initial and ongoing focused assessments to identify actual, potential and critical changes in the patient’s condition and follows through with appropriate reporting and actions. Responsible for providing patient care according to department protocol, policies and procedures. Responsible for communication and documentation necessary for proper patient care. Is a highly motivated, well-organized individual and has demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills. Handles multiple tasks and is self-directed. Possesses efficient skills in respiratory management including intubation and ventilation, IV access, medication administration, code management, & pain management.
