As a Trained Medication Aide, you will administer medications according to policy, assist residents with personal care and daily activities, monitor vital signs and behavior, and help maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful living environment. Candidates must be listed on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry and hold a valid TMA certificate from a community or technical college. Our ideal candidate is a team player who is also comfortable working independently.

Position Type: Part-Time

Shifts Available (Including every other weekend):

Evenings 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
 

Wage Range: $22.50 - $25.90 / hour depending on experience.

Shift Differential: $1.50 / hour

Location: 1438 County Road C East, Maplewood, MN 55109


TMA Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer medications in accordance with Harmony Gardens policies. 
  • Review and follow a written care plan.
  • Measure and record vital signs including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure on new computerized software.
  • Assist with various resident cares such as answering light calls, feeding and helping residents to the bathroom.
  • Observe resident behavior and report any changes in condition or behavior to supervisor.
  • Complete some work as a CNA.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
TMA Qualifications:
  • Must be on the MN nursing assistant registry and have a valid TMA from a community or technical college. 
  • Must have completed a minimum of 1,000 hours as a CNA.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
  • Team player who has a passion for elder care and adapts quickly to changing situations.
