School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) | Easton, Maryland

This contract position for a Registered Nurse is located in Easton, MD, supporting a high school setting. The role requires providing dedicated nursing care to students with specialized medical needs, ensuring their safety and health during transportation and while at school. The assignment runs from ASAP through June 16, 2026, offering consistent onsite engagement with a 37.5-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany and provide nursing care for a student requiring full-time nurse supervision while riding the bus to and from home to school.
  • Support another student who needs nursing assistance during the school day.
  • Monitor and manage student health conditions to ensure well-being throughout transportation and school hours.
  • Communicate effectively with school staff, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate care.
  • Maintain accurate nursing documentation in compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • Experience working with pediatric or adolescent populations preferred.
  • Ability to manage medical equipment and emergency care protocols on a mobile setting.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in dynamic environments.
  • Previous experience in school nursing or similar settings is a plus.
