Where You Will Work: 

Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute Infusion Immediate Care is a non-chemo infusion space within LCI. We take a small number of scheduled patients and accommodate all same-day add ons, with the goal of decreasing Emergency Department utilization and providing same-day infusion services to patients. We care for patients from every clinic in LCI and therefore see a wide variety of cancer types.

 We’re Looking For: 

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.

What You’ll Do: 

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Oncology and triage experience What You’ll Do: Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care, engaging patients and families through the continuum of care. Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence care outcomes. Continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes, taking action as needed. Maintains accurate , timely EHR documentation. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures.
