Key Qualifications:

  • Current Florida LPN or RN ASN licensure
  • CPR certification
  • Experience working with students requiring 1:1 nursing support
  • Skilled in caring for students with gastrostomy tubes (gtube), tracheostomies (trach), and epilepsy

Location:

  • Lakeland, Florida (Greater Tampa Bay Area)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to assigned students during school hours (37.5 hours weekly)
  • Monitor and manage medical devices such as gtubes and tracheostomy tubes
  • Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with individual care plans
  • Collaborate with educational staff and families to ensure consistent and comprehensive care
  • Document nursing interventions and maintain accurate health records
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and seizures related to epilepsy
