HSHS Medical Group is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse in our Internal Medicine clinic. The LPN plays an important role in the clinic setting, performing various clinical and administrative tasks to assist patients through their healthcare journey. LPNs assist in planning and managing patient care according to each patient's needs and furthering the mission of the organization by providing high-quality, respectful care to all.

Position Specifics:

Department: Internal Medicine

Core Function: Nursing

Schedule: Full-Time Days, 36 Hrs/Wk., Monday – Thursday 7:00 AM-4:30 PM (may need to stay later if behind with patients); Off on Fridays, but may occasionally ask to work if low staffed.

Facility: Effingham – Internal Medicine

Location: Effingham, IL

Education Qualifications

  • Completion of state approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Training Program is required.

Experience Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of LPN experience is preferred. Additional proficiencies may be required in some clinical areas.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
