Our Cutaneous Clinic cares for 100 patients daily who are seeking treatment for a confirmed diagnosis, or with suspected skin cancer conditions. Our team has extensive experience with biopsies and expedited on-site results processing. Surgical excision of tumors, including Mohs surgery, robotic-assisted lymphadenectomy and minimally invasive groin dissection for metastatic melanomas, and we offer on-site lab work processing to provide patients with prompt and accurate diagnoses.

- Limb and liver perfusions
- Radiation therapy
- Reconstructive plastic surgery
- Systemic therapies including immunotherapy and targeted therapies.
- Risk assessment and mole mapping services for high-risk individuals.
Position Highlights
- The RN Advisor uses the nursing process to effectively plan and manage patient care by providing individualized, quality nursing care to cancer patients and family members over the phone, in accordance with established Cancer Center guidelines, nursing care standards, and Moffitt Clinic policies.
- Using the concepts of Duffy's Quality Caring Model, the RN Advisor ensures calls are answered promptly and accurately while assessing patient's urgent signs and symptoms.
- The RN Advisor provides nursing interventions, acts as a liaison with the clinical team and documents assessment and interventions in the EHR.
- The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in Oncology as a Registered Nurse
- At least 2 years of experience In Malignant Hematology as a Registered Nurse
- OCN or ACON certification
- Call center experience
- Answer calls using Moffitt Promise Guidelines (AIDET), the quality caring factors, and the nursing process to assess the patient's issue, plan and properly evaluate the care.
- Complete, accurate and timely nursing documentation.
- Exercise clinical judgment and decision making. Recognizes emergencies and takes appropriate action.
- Identify, document and provide accurate and appropriate patient education.
- Participate in evidence based improvement activities related to area of practice. Participate in professional development based on the nursing professional standards, regulatory requirements and job expectations.
- BSN from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with at least one year of relevant experience or ASN from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with 1 year of relevant experience
- FL RN License
- BLS Certification
