Position Overview The Illinois Department of Corrections is seeking to fill the position of Nursing Supervisor to staff in all phases of the Health Care delivery unit, laboratory, radiology, and nursing programs. The incumbent will work as a full-line supervisor to staff, assigning and reviewing work, providing guidance and training to assigned staff, scheduling staff to meet day-to-day operating needs, establish annual goals and objectives. The incumbent will work with state and contractual staff and monitor the quality of care given to our patients. The Nursing Supervisor will assist with the monthly reports, have open communication with the Office of Health Services, assist with CQI data collection and studies, as well as audit completion. Essential Functions Directs, coordinates, and provides guidelines to staff in all phases of the Health Care delivery unit, laboratory, radiology, and nursing programs. Serves as full line supervisor.
