Job Summary
- Work with the center’s MDS/RAI Coordinator or designee to ensure that MDS assessments, Care Area Assessments (CAAs) and CAA Summary and Care Plans are completed accurately, timely and in accordance with state and federal regulations related to the RAI process
- Complete OBRA and PPS MDS assessments, CAAs, CAA Summary and Care Plans as required per RAI guidelines
- Performs clinical record reviews, collaborates with the IDT and performs patient interviews/observations for the purpose of MDS item coding and data collection
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Expectations
- Must read, write and speak fluent English
- Must have good and regular attendance
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Education
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing – RN required
Licenses/Certifications
- Current RN licensure in the state employed
- BLS Certification
Experience
- At least two years of nursing experience within a post-acute/rehabilitation/long-term care setting is preferred
- At least one year of MDS experience is preferred
