A licensed Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to support health services at a high school in Tacoma, WA, for the current school year on a contract basis. This role provides essential nursing care, working primarily in a preschool health room on Mondays and Wednesdays, followed by 1:1 nursing support at the high school on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care to students, including managing individual health plans and responding to medical needs
- Provide 1:1 support and supervision for students requiring specialized nursing attention
- Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with health protocols
- Collaborate with school staff to promote a safe and healthy educational environment
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington is required
- Previous experience working 1:1 with students is highly preferred
- Strong clinical and assessment skills in pediatric and school nursing
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities across different settings
Location: Tacoma, WA (multisite, including a preschool health room and Kent Meridian High School)
