As an Activity Aide you are instrumental in maintaining the emotional and social wellbeing of our residents’. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Guttenberg Care Center by interacting with and providing companionship to our residents, encouraging residents to participate in activities, assisting with scheduling movies, planning parties, organizing games, crafts, and accompanying residents on activities outside of the facility. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they emotional and social wellbeing needs are met.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education. Prior Activity Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!

Assisted Living Certified Nursing Assistant, On Call

We are looking for CNAs to staff our RCFE Buildings and our new Pavilion medical facility. Provide personal care assistance to residents as directed: (bathing, grooming, feeding, and toileting). Help residents with transferring and lifting, raising residents in beds, and turning residents. May apply restraints as directed. Obtains temperature on residents whose medical conditions warrant such monitoring. Obtains urine samples, weights, intake/output. Regularly checks on residents, ensuring comfort, dignity, and privacy. Provide routine daily medications, either prescription or non-prescription, to residents whose condition and drug regimen are stable. Report any adverse reactions from medications. Report any observed change in the resident's vital signs or behavior or any other indication of adverse effects from medication to the charge nurse. Will ensure that the resident has a 72-hour supply of medicine on hand at all times. Performs related Nurse Assistant duties as assigned for efficient unit operation. Attends all mandatory in-services. Attends department meetings as required and scheduled. Participates in drills and demonstrates knowledge of Plan for Department. Cleans each unit assigned by the Director, including IV poles, ice bucket/ladle, wheelchair/carts. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. Pre-Employment Requirements: W e are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required. Education Requirements: Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
