Job Description
- Shift: Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM
- Fully In Person - Some travel required within Tampa
- Builds relationships with patients and physicians to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
- Collaborates with clinical and non-clinical staff, managers, and directors to align resources and services for patient-centered obstetrical care.
- Manages resources to achieve efficient, high-quality outcomes for OB patients, supporting interdisciplinary and cross-facility collaboration and communication.
- Tracks program performance in line with facility goals, identifying opportunities to streamline care practices using evidence-based guidelines.
- Serves as a liaison between patients, families, primary care physicians, internal and external care providers, specialists, and the wider healthcare community.
- Skill and proficiency in applying highly technical principles, concepts and techniques which are central to the nursing profession [Required]
- Bi-lingual language [Preferred]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]
- N/A
- Experience in acute care setting or as a nurse navigator [Preferred]
- 1+ years obstetrical nursing experience [Required]
- Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
