Job Description
- Uses knowledge of pregnancy, labor, delivery, and post-partum care to create individualized care plans.
- Assesses needs, modifies care plans, and evaluates patients' developmental levels and support systems.
- Identifies teaching opportunities and participates in practice changes from performance improvements.
- Documents and monitors activities accurately.
- Acts as a liaison between the obstetrical unit and patients, families, and physician office staff, addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Ability to communicate professionally (orally and in written form) in the English language [Required]
- Strong organizational skills [Required]
- Customer service skills [Required]
- Skilled in providing age appropriate education [Preferred]
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) [Preferred]
- Associate's of Nursing [Required]
