Summary

The Procedural RN responsibilities include:

  • RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
  • RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
  • RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
  • RN also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

This position requires at two years of RN experience with a strong preference for at least 1 year of RN experience in Endoscopy, PACU, Critical Care, or Emergency Service. Procedural experience is preferred. Endoscopy experience is strongly preferred.
