Summary

Provides general nursing case to patients in residency clinic or similar health-care facility following established standards of practice. In conjunction with Practice Manager, supervises clinical personnel and facilitates day-to-day operations within the Clinic structure as it relates to the clinical staff.

Formal Education Required

Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)

-Applicants with an Associate’s degree will be considered but are required to obtain BSN within three (3) years of employment

Graduate of a program of professional nursing that is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)
Current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio
Meets continuing education requirements in order to maintain license

Experience & Training Required:

One (1) year of RN experience; experience in clinic, physician office environment, or healthcare facility working with the department-specific patient population preferred.

CPR certification
Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practice, and medical care to five and evaluate patient care
Knowledge or organizational policies, regulations and procedures to administer patient care
